New Site - Tech-Mex

After a few dedicated months of work, I’m thrilled to announce the launch of Tech-Mex.io! This project has been a labor of love, and I’m incredibly proud of the final result.

The goal was to create a website that truly embodies our company’s values. We strive to deliver exceptional service to our clients, and we wanted the site to reflect that commitment. Striking a balance was key: a modern and sophisticated feel that also acknowledges our heritage and the inspiration behind our company name.

Achieving this involved a design that seamlessly blends tradition and modernity. I incorporated imagery inspired by Aztec drawings and design, adding a contemporary twist. Take the “About Us” page, for example, with its tablet sun god. Subtle glyphs are also sprinkled throughout the site. The header backgrounds subtly transition from the ancient era to modern technological times, further emphasizing this theme.

The color palette draws upon earth tones, including bright reds and oranges, while geometric shapes and patterns create a visually engaging and appealing whole.

Technically, the site is built using ProcessWire, a fantastic content management framework based on PHP. For added interactivity, I utilized petite-vue, and styled it all with TailwindCSS.

Of course, content is still under development, but the design is complete and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. It’s a testament to the power of dedication and a touch of creative inspiration.
